Julian pongs into history

One of my favourite sayings is that "we're not here just for fun", we have some hard work to do too.

You will recall that a mission I have on this trip is to raise some funds for my favourite charity that is fighting the ways children in particular are being trafficked and exploited.

I intend to do this by playing table tennis as I travel to the various cities and towns, and using this "gimmick" to raise awareness of the good work seven partner organisations are doing.

Well... can you believe it?

Could you have imagined that I would work myself into the Portuguese National Museum for Sport with my table tennis prowess?

There I am, a Portuguese icon of the sport.

Someone said I didn't have the balls for Table Tennis.  Well look at all em balls now!

After a very trying time ponging away, I tried serving a few out of left field.

This next photo shows me delivering up a very welcome serve after all my ponging!

I would like to thank the generosity of many of my friends for their generous donations already - I am so pleased that you have joined me in contributing to the funding.

If you would also like to help us with the fight against child exploitation, please visit my fundraising page on this link:  https://theglobalpong.raisely.com/julianjosem  After all, we're not here just for fun!
